GWYL Awards Grant to The Troy Rec Center

For the first time since our inception in 2015, we had only one nominated charity - the Troy Recreation Center; therefore, they are the recipient of our November 2021 grant. The "Rec" is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit formed in 1941. The "Rec", located in a historic building in downtown Troy, provides a supervised fun location for local teens to come after school. Teens can meet their friends and enjoy playing pool, basketball, doing homework, or just hanging out. The "Rec" has computers with internet access available for use. There is no charge for 6th-12th grade students, but students must have a parent signed agreement form on file.
