New Food Pantry Gets Stocked

The Lincoln Community Center Food Pantry was founded after seeing the need for food security in the area. The Lincoln Community Center is home to many resources such as showers, free after school programs, free summer programs, free back-to-school supplies, and Thanksgiving dinners. The one thing they were missing was a food pantry. With the new addition to the Lincoln Community Center, space opened up within the original site of the building and created the opportunity to do something more. Within the first month of being open, the LCC Food Pantry has served nearly 100 customers and continues to receive positive feedback. The Give Where You Live grant of $6,630 will put a lot of food on the shelves!
